The concept of Servant Leadership - lead by example, groom, create an enabling environment, be a good shepherd
As a person stand for 3 things:
- Doing the Right Thing,
- Fostering Teamwork & Trust,
- Having a Passion for Winning
...in that order.
My job as your boss is to -
- make sure the CEO knows who you are by sharing your accomplishments
- foster synergy by fostering information flow up, down, and across the command structure.
Your job, once you’ve built your team, is to -
- make sure I know who your stars are
- hire/groom your own replacement
- and never be afraid to hire people smarter than yourself
